"Was on a cross country trip and bike began having voltage problems in Eatonton, GA. No HD or any other motorcycle shop for 40 miles. Headed to Athens and googled HD Athens but no HD in Athens closest 50 more miles in Buford GA. Wife found Cycle Worls and we dcided to go there for any assistance. We were surprised but happy to see that Cycle Worldwas a HD dealer also! The service manage and Dana were great. They immediately began evaluating the problem (voltage regulator and battery) and had us back on the road on 1 1/2 hours. Everyone was was very helpful and did everything to make our unplanned visit a success. Offering to store the bike for the night, discounts at hotel, resturant suggestions, etc.Even provided a beverage for our pleasure.
While we did not like have a mechanical problem, Cycle Worls and it's emplyess were fabulous!!!!!"

"I came to the dealership to look not really expecting to purchase a bike. I had a 2010 Yamaha Raider but looked around and found a used Harley Road Glide. End result was that I traded for the Road Glide. This was on a Saturday and I rode the bike home where it sat until the next weekend. I started to town and the bike simply quit at the traffic light and would not start. I trailered it back to Athens to dealer and left it. It stayed at dealers for 4 weeks being worked on. I was called and told it was ready and I picked it up and rode it home again. The dealer did not charge me one cent for repairs during this time. The bike was not right, it spit and sputtered at lights and just simply was not running right. I made a call to Mark and he instructed me to bring it back so they could look at it again. I took it back and it was checked and the result was they could not fix what was wrong with the bike at their facility. It would have to be sent out and put on a dyno. I was not a happy camper at the thought of being without the bike for another two-three weeks. So after talking with Barry and Mark they took the bike back and put me on a 2012 Harley Ultra Classic. I cannot say enough good things about these two, Barry and Mark, and the dealership. At most other dealers they would probably have told me the used bike was "as is" and it was my problem. But these two men went over and beyond to make me happy with the purchase from Cycle World. I would not buy from any other dealer and highly recommend them to everybody. My thanks to Cycle World and Mark and Barry!!!!"

"After driving 40 or so miles to the Kawasaki dealer next door to Cycle World to see a bike they advertised , but did not have . My wife jokingly suggested as long as we were there we should check out the Harley store next door . Not considering the purchase of a Harley as a second bike , I pored over the inventory with muted interest . Preparing to leave ,I spotted a bike that was generating a great deal of interest . A black 883R Sporty fully accesorised , very low mileage , and imaculately maintained , with a barely beleivable low price tag . I spoke breifly with Bobby who explained it was a special sale bike on consignment . Taken by the sheer beauty of the machine , and observing the growing interest of other patrons I proposed a somewhat unorthodox purchase offer . Although I had a substantial deposit , I anticipated I would not have the balance for at least a month .Bobby explained courteously that the bike I was lookin at was obviously a "hot" item , but contacted the owner and secured the deal on a really nice Sporty . Fortunately I was able to take delivery on my first ever Harley (after 47 years riding) three weeks before I had hoped . When I arrived to close the sale , my cycle had been detailed , oil and filter changed at NO additional cost . I was sincerely impressed . And Bobby's casual low pressure approach made the buying experience a pleasure . To my surprise two weeks after taking delivery Bobby had located the owners manual , spare key , and security system remote and mailed them to me . Thats service . I will definitely be patroninzing Cycle World in the near future . "

"While traveling with friends on the first day of a six day ride to Tennessee from Florida, my wife and I lost the rear brakes on our '10 Ultra Classic. "I recently purchased my second Harley from cycleworld and again the experience was excellent!!! Bobby and Kevin could not have been nicer. I have visited most of the Harley dealerships from atlanta down to kissimee and most of the time the experience is not enjoyable. Cycleworld is the exception they make u feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. In fact I looked at the same model bike that I bought this week at a dealership in kissimee but their lack of interest and their attitude made me pick up the phone and call Bobby at cycleworld to see if they had a night train. They had one so i came back to athens and purchased it. Thanx guys for a wondeful experience and i love my new bike it is everything Bobby said it was."

"On July 22, 2006 during the Opening House, I had my 2001 Harley Ultra towed in for repairs. I called prior and the service department was expecting me. Great service department.
While enjoying the open house noticed this 2006 Red Goldwing on the show room floor. Chatted with Keving off and on during the morning. The short and long of it, I bought the goldwing and headed back to upstate New York.
Although there were some misunderstanding between me and sales, it was a great experience. In fact, Mr. Phil Nucholls called several times. What a great thing for an owner to do. That probably would not have happened in New York.
If ever you are near this dealership stop in and visit. You will not be disappointed. In fact they should open a branch near where I live.
If the dealership was closer than 1100 miles they would receive all of my service and accessory needs."

"I was in Athens, Georgia, for the Women on Wheels Ride-in over the 4th of July. Because Cycle World was one of the sponsors, the WOW women were asked to use your services. And, they could not have chosen a better dealership.
Our group from Pennsylvania, Winding Road Riders, enjoyed shopping for parts and clothing in your store. I purchased a T-shirt, luggage bag, E-Z pull clutch, and had a turn signal replaced.
Because you guys were taking care of the 400+ women that attended the rally, I had to wait a while for the clutch to be installed. And, to my amazement, when I went to pay for the installation, I was told that you had waived the charges.
The dealerships in our area (and probably throughout the U.S.) should take a lesson from your dealership. Here I was, an out-of-towner that you would probably never see again, and you treated me as a regular that had purchased several motorcycles from you. I was truly amazed.
No wonder you received a standing ovation at the finale of our WOW meeting. You guys deserve it. Keep up the good work.

"I attended the AMA/FIM Women's Motorcycling Conference this past weekend (June30-July3). My fender was rubbing against my tire. (I had bungeed wrong). Dave Howard was so nice, he found out what was wrong, had the mechanic fix it, adjusted the suspension and then in an old fashioned fatherly tone, told me to check it every 100 miles to be safe. He even gave me the gloves so I wouldn't get my hands dirty while checking. I felt confident when I left the shop that my bike was safe for the long ride back home to Ohio.Let Dave know I did check it and I made it home safely. Thanks for the food and fun too. Sunday I spent lots of money on clothes and stuff to bring back home. "

We did have minor problems with the 1996 Harley Classic that was taken care of fast, effient, and FREE. We have used every department, they have all been great. "I have purchased two biles in the past 10 years from Cycle World of Athens. The first was a 1996 Honda Shadow ACE 1100 and the last one is a 2005 Harley Road King. I have to say that my experience with Cycle World of Athens has been a good one. I have never had any problems and they have done just about anything I have requested. Their service department has been top notch and I would not have a problem sending anyone I know to buy or have a bike serviced through them. They also have some of the nicest people in the world working for them that I have run across. Keep up the good work gang."
